Another week has gone by. Dieting has not gotten any easier for me. My life was all about food and eating. Weight loss has really been slow, but I have not cheated.
I've had to step up my exercise even more. On days I work, I ride my bike 10 miles instead of 5 and on my days off, I try to ride at least 20 miles. On Sunday I worked out at Anytime Fitness, walked the dog for about 3 miles, then rode my bike 20 miles. I use the "Rails to Trails" bike paths in Huron and Lorain counties. They are both really nice.
This week I'm going to make an appointment with my family doctor. Hopefully, I can get off some of my medications. My blood pressure has been really low. It would be great if I didn't have to take so many prescriptions. All my clothes are getting too big. I hate the idea of buying new clothes, but I will if I have to.
At work the machine that makes ingots was down. Once it is running I'll be working a lot of hours again. With the machine down, I was able to attend the first FIT Challenge at Bodi n Balance in Port Clinton. What a nice looking gym. It was a lot of fun. I thought we all looked good. I could tell that everyone had lost some weight. It looks like everybody means business. This competition is really tough. I'm going to try to step it up another notch. Maybe Ken has some ideas for me; I'm open to suggestions.
My wife used to bake something for me about once a week. Now she treats me with "sugar free " Jello with fruit.
I really look forward to that. (That's a hint Linda) The whole family has had to change eating habits. Even the dog doesn't get ice cream like she used to.
