Lace up Das running shoes for this weekend's Das Boot

When you swap out the "c" in October with a "k" you can celebrate the month in September. Does that make sense?

This Saturday downtown Sandusky will be decked out with lederhosen and you may find a couple steins of a frothy beverage. What you may also find, if you are fast enough, is an award for winning the Boy with Das Boot 5k. (pictured to the right)

The event is sponsored by the North Coast Young Professionals and is being run in conjunction with the Sandusky State Theatre's Oktoberfest celebration. You can pick up a registration form with the link below.

And Sunday, as I posted last week, is this weekend's Mason's Walk/Run at Osborne Park. This is a great event for kids, I'll be there with mine.

And one month from Friday will be the FIT Fright Challenge 5k. We will have a story about it soon, but right now you can download the registration form below.
