I've never had to run from the police at Kelleys Island, or any island for that matter. Or any non-island either. And I'm not sure if the police will be doing the chasing or the ones who are being chased this Sunday at Kelleys Island.
All I know is the name of the race is the Police Chase and a couple guests of honor will be K9 officers including Perkins police dog Uganda. Here's hoping he won't be doing the chasing, but if he is I could possibly set a personal record with my time.
This weekend's half marathon is part of my 50 miles before the end of the year. The weather looks good for Sunday so I am looking forward to running, but not so sure how they are finding 13.1 miles over there.

This is my first post since the FIT Fright Challenge 5k in Norwalk and I'd like to thank everyone who participated and volunteered. Because of your support we are able to make a donation to the Fisher-Titus Foundation's Weekends without Hunger program.
