I weighed in this past week and was disappointed. I didn’t reach my goal weight for the second month. I wanted to be down 20 pounds. I’m close, but I want to try to reach it by March 8.
I think I can do it. My personal trainer Shawn Zahel of NOMS and I have been having longer workout sessions. We keep the routines different and challenging. On Friday, I ran on the treadmill for about 20 minutes. We are already preparing for a 5K, which is in May.
I’m not a big fan of running, and I think Shawn wants me to run the whole thing. Hopefully, I’ll be down 60 pounds by then. With all that weight gone I should be able to fly right to the finish line. I hope there’s a breeze.
I’ve been having some trouble with my eating habits. I eat healthy; it’s just I snack way too much. I’ve been trying to cut out that mindless eating.
This challenge is not at all easy. It takes dedication and self-motivation. I’ve been building both of these up. It’s tough trying to balance everything out. My schedule has been school and the gym every day. I’m usually at the gym for at least an hour.
At first, I didn’t like going to the gym and an hour seemed like forever. Now it flies by in the blink of an eye. I set my mind on a goal and keep pushing.
These months are flying by like crazy. We already have another challenge in a week in a half. I’m pretty nervous about this upcoming challenge. I don’t know what to expect. I heard that there’s going to be no teams, and I’m totally fine with that.
My goal for this week and for the rest of the challenge is to snack less. I’m hoping that when I’m in the newspaper on March 12, it’ll read that I’m down 20 pounds. I want to congratulate the other contestants for their weight loss. We have four more months. I think we got this!! I want to give a shout-out to my Aunt Diane. She reads my blogs all the way from Maryland. Love ya!
