It is bittersweet to write this blog.
I am sad the FIT Challenge is over already, but so happy for all I have learned.
I am forever grateful for the knowledge, time, effort and patience that my trainer Shawn Zahel of NOMS has given me.
I just got back from a wonderful week camping with my family and friends!
I have lots of laundry and dishes to wash, many things to put back in their place and I am very sunburned, but we had a blast!
It's July already! When did this happen? I am sad that the FIT Challenge is almost over :(
However, I am happy with my progress so far.
Guess what???? SURPRISE! I got my birthday wish early! I only wanted one thing and I got it!!!!!

I have had a very busy past week!
I am still recovering from the other weekend with Becca's graduation party and putting things away from it.
It has been a very long week.
I made my workouts at the beginning of the week as strong as possible, knowing the rest of the week would be chaotic.
My daughter's graduation party was this past weekend and I needed time to prepare. So much to do and so little time.
Busy as usual! And lots more to come this week.
I made it to the gym again five times this past week. I had a night of TRX bands, in addition to a few nights of tiring, but not stressful, treadmill workouts.
I am one very happy and proud woman right now!
This past week has had many ups and downs, but I am still here and doing well.
This time two weeks ago, I was very nervous about my first 5K ever ... and it was for the FIT Challenge.

Life is getting busier each week with graduation and the FIT 5K quickly approaching.
But I still find the time to make it to the gym at least five days a week with or without my trainer's help.
