Hi, I'm Jen.
I wanted to do the FIT Challenge to be healthier for myself!
I do lots of things for my family, my job, my friends, and for many activities I am connected to.
But this, I need to do for me.
My family health history is terrible with heart issues, diabetes and obesity.
I want to do everything I can to be the turning point. I want to be happy, healthy and be here for my children.
I would like to accomplish three goals during this challenge.
First, I would like to lose around 50 pounds or more.
Second, I would like to be off my blood pressure meds.
Third, find happiness in myself again.
I have met my awesome NOMS personal trainer Shawn Zahel and have started right away at NOMS Fitness Center.
I feel better already.
My initial measurements are scary and hopefully NOT going to last.
I have been to the gym every day since I started and, even though it hurts sometimes, I am determined to keep going.
Failure is not an option, and I hate excuses!
Thank you to my family, friends & co-workers, who are open to helping accomplish my personal goals and supporting me 100 percent.
It will not be easy. There will be many tears along the way. But it will be worth it in the end and I will do my best!
