I have had a very busy past week!
I am still recovering from the other weekend with Becca's graduation party and putting things away from it.
I started a brand-new computer program at work that will be easy eventually, but is very complicated to learn and is very stressful for those of us who must learn it and use it now.
On top of my regular work week, I was at 2 Cans Tiki Bar on Wahl Road in Vickery all weekend raising money for new band uniforms for Perkins High School Marching Band.
A very special thank you to my very good friend, Traci Morris, who was with me all weekend! We are a great team! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us and supported Perkins Band Boosters!
I have been on the go all week and feel exhausted!
This summer has already been more complex than any other and no end is in site.
Although I only made it to the gym three times this past week, I really worked hard at making them count.
I hope to do much better this week. I have increased my strength training and started using weights again.
I haven't used them too much since preparing for the 5K so now I am going back to some basics to maintain what I have started.
I have not lost as much weight as I had intended so far, but I am not going backwards.
I am proud of my accomplishments and beginning to see more results. I am happy again and loving it! I can do this! I will do this!
I didn't put on all this weight in six months and it won't come off that quickly either.
I am thankful for my husband and children who encourage me every day.
I am glad I have Shawn Zahel at NOMS Fitness Center to keep me going in the right direction. I truly love going and having time to myself. I am happy to be part of this amazing experience.
