My last blog, really? I can’t believe six months is coming to a close. This challenge has changed my life and the lives of the others who were in it with me. It’s amazing how far we have all come.
Well my friends I participated in my first 5K and finished!!
I’d like to thank Diane Swartz for encouraging me to move faster and keep going. This was her first 5K and only the beginning of firsts we have shared and will continue to share together.
With the Halloween candy temptation done, I’m back to losing weight again!
Yay! For a while (like most of this past month), I didn’t gain any weight, but I didn’t lose any either. Then these past couple of weeks it finally started to come off again, whew.
Wow, it’s November, I can’t believe it. I see sandy beaches and volcanos in my future. We’ve been planning this December trip for a year and now and it’s finally becoming a reality.

All I’ve been talking about is my training, which has been going great. Three days at the Sandusky Y with my personal trainer Joyce Niedzwiecki this past week.
Another AWESOME week! We started out Oct. 15 with the FIT Challenge at Anytime Fitness in Norwalk. All I’m going to say is watch out fellow FIT Challenger Steve Wilson, I’m gonna make you work for it!
This past week I hit my swim goal of 60 25-yard laps! I’m stoked enough to set another goal: 1 mile or 72 laps. Once I hit a mile, I’ll work on speed. I’m feeling really proud of everyone in the FIT Challenge.
