My name is Scott Webb. I am a 26-year-old Sandusky native who has read the success stories of those who have participated in the FIT Challenge.
I felt that this was something that could help me reach my goal weight. Currently, my weight is at 350 pounds; my perfect weight would be around 225, so my goal is to lose 100-125 lbs.
I am an educator working as a substitute teacher aide for the Renhill Staffing Services and I would like to set a great example for the community to show you are never too old to set goals for yourself.
Like I mentioned earlier, my weight gain is something I struggle with daily and I find myself really losing the battle of self-control. I eat a lot of fast food and drink a lot of pop. I need help changing my diet and eating less of the junk foods and have a more balanced diet.
Diabetes is very common in my family, and I found out three months ago that I am borderline diabetic.
After eating so unhealthy for so long, I need a professional to help show me the correct foods to maintain a healthy weight.
I also know that a part of a healthy lifestyle is exercise. Eating the right foods in the right portions is important, but without the exercise, I’m not burning calories.
I currently go and take walks or go for a run at Osborn Park, but I’m sure this is nowhere near the regularity needed.
I find myself getting frustrated and losing motivation. I need someone to motivate me to get into shape, to show me the most effective ways to burn calories and tone up.
I have in the past been a member of Anytime Fitness, but was not satisfied with my weight loss. As I have stated, I have tried exercise routines in the past, but without the proper diet, I lose my motivation and end up quitting.
That why I need the help of the FIT Challenge. I know with the right coaching and motivation I can achieve my goal, I have read the past successes stories and I also would like to be successful in my battle with my weight.
It’s a battle I can win; I just need the right help. I hope the FIT Challenge is the right help I need.
