FIT Challenger Jen Gardin and I have had trouble finding the time to meet up to train together these past couple of weeks.
We both have been busy, but when we are able to, we make the most of the time we have.
When we get a chance to train, our main focus is strength training. I do not want Jen to lose the great progress we have made in her total body strength.
Using tools like the TRX and our human sport machines, along with some free weights, are what most of these training sessions consist of. Cardio has been almost entirely done on her own for the past month or so.
I could not be more proud of how Jen has really taken it upon herself to make sure she gets her cardio in.
I was ecstatic to hear the week after she had finished the FIT Challenge 5K, she was going to compete in another 5K. Now that is dedication!
Also, the spin bike has really grown on Jen. A few days ago she spent over an hour doing a high intensity workout on the bike.
The progress she is making is really starting to show in the numbers and in her overall health.
I cannot wait to see what this last month has in store. Jen is completely dedicated to this lifestyle change and it is showing.
