It has been a difficult week to say the least. There was a death in my husband’s immediate family, and my priorities have been changed drastically. Because of that, it was hard to make the time to work out and eat right.
My diet suffered quite a bit the last half of this week. Although I did not overindulge, which I could have being surrounded by a lot of amazing food, I was not as careful as I should have been. I ate foods and desserts that I have been trying to avoid, which just made it harder the next day to hop back on the diet wagon.
I also was unable to work out except for two days. I’ve been sticking to a pretty strict six-day routine, so when I worked out with my trainer after taking four days off, it was rough to say the least.
I attended a tri-training class Saturday and had my husband come to keep me motivated. While he’s home for this family matter, he will be working out by my side.
On a lighter note, I was still able to lose this week. I am extremely close to my goal for the month of February and I am hoping to surpass it. This is definitely feasible as long as I can get back into a routine.
It has been uplifting to hear from my husband, family and friends that they are seeing results and are proud of what I’ve achieved so far.
