Strickfaden plans for two-a-days

Another week down and not too many more to go!

This competition has really helped keep me focused and distracted all at the same time.

I focused more on myself than I probably ever have. It also helped the time go by quickly.

It’s hard to believe my husband has been deployed for more than six months. Not too much longer and I can have his arms wrapped around my much smaller self!

I had a weigh-in this week with my trainer Clare Loy of The Gym.  

I’ve almost hit a nice pace with losing 1-2 pounds a week. Although it’s a slow process, I’ve learned that this is reality. I didn’t gain all this weight in a few months and it certainly isn’t going to come off that quickly.

On the other hand, it’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that I’ve lost almost 40 pounds in four and a half months! You don’t realize how much that is until you have to lift something that equates to that.

Workouts have been going great.

I had to take a few days off running because I’ve been having trouble with the muscles in my feet.

I decided to invest in some insoles for my running shoes so hopefully that will help! There is only a few more weeks of school and I’m hoping to really push the intensity of my workouts.

I plan on doing two-a-days about five to six times a week.
