Wilson: 'This has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do'

I had a good week with my outdoor activities. Rode my bike a lot and got to walk the dog some. It sounds like that will be coming to an end with all cold weather that's coming. I'm glad I got the bulk of my weight loss in already because it's harder for me to exercise inside. I'd rather be outside.                               
I've been on a pretty strict diet and exercise schedule, and I plan on sticking with it. Even though I've been pushed back two weeks on my weigh-in schedule, I still plan on weighing in Nov. 1, and to be at my goal weight of 230 pounds. Once I hit my goal, I may try to lose another 5 or 10 pounds.
This has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I'm glad I'm doing it. I have been very irritable and short with people. My patience is not very good.
My wife says I'm getting senile and I've been forgetting things a lot lately. I don't think my weight loss has anything to do with it; it's just part of getting old.
I feel like I've aged 10 years with all the wrinkles that are showing up. The other day when I was at work in the wash room, I turned and looked in the mirror and thought I was looking at my Dad. That's not a bad thing, since my dad was a handsome man.
