Wilson: 'I never thought I'd be doing some of the things I'm doing'

Talk about excitement. Sugar-free Jello was on sale this past week at Schilds IGA! My wife Linda bought about 12 boxes.

We had our third FIT Challenge this past week. It was at NOMS where Leah Collins works out. Another very nice gym. When Linda heard we were going to run she thought for sure I would trip over my own feet and fall.

I think that's why she came to watch. She is very easily entertained. She is in awe of Meg Chrislip and Leah. There is no way she could have done what they did. I don't know about Meg and Leah, but it took awhile before my legs felt "right" and the next day they were sore.

I spent this past week training to run in a Turkey Trot with my daughter Heidi and her husband. I was on the treadmill a lot. I can jog nonstop for about 30 minutes at about 5 mph. I'd like to jog the Trot nonstop if possible.

Back in July if someone had said I'd be running in a 5K I would have laughed. I never thought I'd be doing some of the things I'm doing now. I can thank Ken Cutcher my trainer at Anytime for all his help. He has helped me to become much more mobile.

I plan to eat sensibly on Thanksgiving. I may end up at the gym after dinner. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

Great job Steve!

I hope that the 5K went well.
