The FIT Challenge is almost over. I think all of us (the contestants) have come a long way. I hope my healthy eating and exercise will become a way of life for me.
I know I spend a lot of time reading labels on food. Never used to do that. I've gotten used to eating smaller portions at meals.
Working out doesn't seem like work. I enjoy it. Doing a variety of exercise keeps me from getting bored. I'm trying to increase my strength to build some muscle. I probably won't lose anymore weight for the next weigh-in. Now it's time to tone myself up at this weight.
I've given away all my XXL clothes. That will be some incentive for keeping the weight off.
I'm still worried about the next challenge since it I have to swim. Had to buy a bathing suit ... not a Speedo. Fellow contestant Meg Chrislip will probably show up with her surf board. I'll be glad when it's over. Wish me luck.
