Tofu gives smoothie a protein boost

Here is a good recipe to go with breakfast, for a snack or to take care of that sweet-tooth craving.

This smoothie checks a lot of boxes on different diets and nutritional benefits and you can easily change the fruit to your liking.

With the tofu, it gives it a nice creamy texture and gives you a nice protein boost.

Tropic Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 minutes 
Yield: About 3 1/2 cups for 2, 1 3/4-cup servings

2 cups diced frozen mango
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
3/4 cup Silken tofu
1/4 cup lime juice
1 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest

Directions
Combine mango, pineapple juice, tofu, lime juice and lime zest in a blender; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
